Melanie Jayne Taylor
Melanie Jayne Taylor works with text components and installation strategies to display her extensive personal photographic archive; within these images she investigates the transitory nature of memory, loss, longing, and absence.
Melanie completed her MFA with high distinction from RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia in 2010. She has exhibited her work extensively in Australia and internationally. Melanie is recipient of the Australian-Thailand Institute Artist in Residency Program 2014-2015 and has undertaken artist in residency's in Finland, Italy, Spain, Thailand and Australia.
Melanie is co-founder of The Australian Thai Artist Interchange (ATAI), a cross cultural exchange organisation. She is also part of the collaborations Concrete Post and Eye Collective.
