Scott Morrison

Scott Morrison's audio-visual installations transcend the familiar, creating unexpected sensory experiences that re-configure our perspective of environment and place. Maintaining a hybrid of processes including live editing and sonic performance his work is rhythmically captivating. Morrison is interested in how we can look and listen at the moving-image anew by reworking and re-imagining the natural world.

Morrison has been included in exhibitions and performances locally and abroad including Melbourne Art Fair, 2014; Project Pixel, Melbourne Fringe Festival, 2014; One 11 (Refocused) A Homage to Cage performed at MONA FOMA, Hobart, 2012; Musikprotokoll, Graz, 2011; Figuring Landscapes, Tate Modern, London, 2009; LOOP 09, International Festival & Fair of Video Art, Barcelona, 2009; ArtRMX Festival, Cologne, Germany, 2008; and Nairt Inrat (solo), Institute of Modern Art, Brisbane, 2005.
